The Difference I Realize Is The Level Of Emotion he has When He Rhymin.Back Then He Sounded A Lil more serious Now He sound more calm like he's used to doing this music.I guess he matured with his flow.Also The sound quality got better on the mixtapes.I guess he upgraded his studio equipment too.

i will say his music now is more meaningful not saying 04-05 wasn't. if u follow his career then like he said on disc 2 intro on lito's way 2 he was doing it to BE!!!! apart of the movement cashmoney was putting out. but now like if u hear him say cashmoney now it like in an ownership (this my label, i will carry it no matter who was hear first or last) not saying he battling his labelmates or dissing. it just a business and cmb is the machine he under. so what that being said 23 zone he in. Lito is exactly what we need in an artist. He is wine. He gets better with time. Look at people like 50 Cent: Get Rich or Die Tryin' was the shit, but Massacre was a little off, and then he let his arrogance get to him and thought he could "beef" with everyone -- I didn't bother to listen to Curtis. From It Ain't A Game No More to I Love You Too, Star has progressed each time, getting better and better, and, I'm only 17 myself, but I guess from 19 to 23 there is a good amount of maturation. Mr. Shute does spit about the drugs and the guns and blah blah, but listen to Starlito's Way 2 and I Love You Too for instance, he's deeper than rap. He's an intellectual. That's what we need. Someone who strives for excellence. He excelled academically, graduated Hume Fogg, attended TSU, dropped out, realized the mistake, he's back in college, he grinded with his mixtapes and didnt slang crack on the corner waiting for someone to magically find him. He's an excellent lyricist and again, only keeps progressing. Jermaine Shute is probably the closest thing to a hero I have ever had in my life. I aspire to be like him. But back to the topic, the difference is the progression of lyrical skill, subject matter, emotion, and music as an art in itself. Lito IS the best rapper alive, nothing subjective about it. It's fact!!!

one thing i've notice is that back n 04-05 it was basicly nuthin but street music. and he has grown lyricly, mentally, and started making more meaningful/real tracks, isn't scared to try sumtin different as far as different types of songs, his flow has become better.

and for sum of those are the reasons y he is the best rapper alive. not only is one of the realest, great lyricist, consistant kills 99% of every tracks he's on, on every genre of rap. sure u may think sumbody is hotter than Lito for ex sum people like Yo Gotti & Young Buck more than they do Lito for whatever reason. i mean sure yeah they both hard got a bunch of classics and kill every track. and u can say that bout n e other artist, but the difference is that makes Lito better is the fact that he doesn't just do street or one type of rap. and makes alot real music. for ex: Living Will, Bless, Champaign & Xtc, And I Love U (whatever), Busted Out My Window Freestyle, Bag Servin, Hoods Last Hope, I Love This Life, Thoughts Of A Hustla, Im Feelin It, One Of These Nights, just to name a couple.

and i've never met Lito but just from his post and his thoughts, etc. he's a real dude, very intelegent, focus on his goals, and doesn't let n e thing distract him on his path. and unlike 95% of other rappers/ n e body who didn't grow up with money who made it. didn't let money blind him he went to college dropped out but goes back to futher his education which will help him expand into different things. and is a great role model to the youth, help them focus on they education cuz knowledge is power. the more u know the better off. just because u may luck up and get money or become a famous rapper/actor/proffesional athlete. should never quit pursing knowledge. cuz u can't be on top forever and when they all goes away, u'll have sumtin to fall back on.

just wish i could have done that and focused on my education more when i was young. but seriously thinking about quit gettin high and everything enroll in sum college and try to better myself. cuz real talk i've done forgot alot of shit

i think he's matured as an artist and aas and all around person. u can hear the seriousness and emotion in his rhymes and his voiced wen he spit. we all kno he got talent like LLeh but its like he doin dis music shit for a purpose. in 04-05 it was like he tryna get his self out dare to get known. i kno he would lik to b real deal main stream now but it dnt seem like he jus stressin it kuz he kno dat da real niggas dat listen to his music gone respect him and his music. dats y he one of my fav artist kuz yea he can cum wit da metaphors and wat not but den he got dat realness to him kuz he ben in da streets and kno wats its like for a young nigga lik me tryna kum up n do sum. tryna b an inspiration to da young ppl and help da older ones to realize dat dey need to get where dey wana go. like u can listen to a bunch of rappers and it dont neccisarily make dem one of da best just cuz dey got mor metaphors. it jus mean dat dey mite have a lil more knowledge dan sumone else. allstar's music is a big party of my life and da way i think. err time i get on my space i always put LB4W(live by four words)grind hard stay focused and dats it

back then u went nothing but hard, and i liked that but now u go full on on some tracks, but you do alot more creative tracks then u did back in the day, esp with tha last tape, i think u showed ur range on the i love you too tape and maybe one of the retards at cashmoney will realize that and promote and put out ur album.
